Hill 46KV Substation #4 |

This substation was a complete rebuild with 2-20MVA transformers, 2-15KV 1200amp metal-clad switchgears, new bus, 3-SF6 circuit switchers, SCADA controls, capacitor bank, and arresters. The substation remained active with a few brief power outages for cutovers.

This substation was a complete rebuild with 2-25MVA transformers, 1-15KV 2000amp metal clad switchgear, new AL bus, and 4-SF6 circuit switchers. On this project we removed the existing metal clad switchgear and replaced it with a new skid mounted metal clad switchgear in one day. The customer had power back on in 12 hours. In addition, we extended another 15KV metal clad switchgear and relocated a 20MVA transformer. |

This High Voltage upgrade project had 7,000 feet of 5"PVC, 1,200 feet of 4"PVC duct bank, 2-10ft x 16feet manholes, 27,345feet of 500MCM 15KV cable, and 3-SF6 switches. In addition, we replaced a pad mounted transformer and removed overhead power lines. Power outages were taken on nights and weekends. |

Grand Junction Airport Lighting Control Building |
|
This project replaced the existing airport lighting control building with a new building. The new electrical power and control systems were switched without interruption to the FAA airport traffic control. Runway lights, taxiways lights, signs, REILS, PAPIs, wind cones, beacon lights, radio controls, and regulators are all part of this project and others like it. |
